Feeling thankful? Share the feeling this Saturday with a houseful of local artists pitching in to benefit a great cause: Dove Recovery House for Women (www.dovehouserecovery.net .) Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis (UUI), 615 West 43rd St., Indianapolis. OpenMic Nights are a great chance to hear pros try out new material andmeet emerging artists. Coffee, snacks and wine available. $8 suggested donation.
6:00 p.m. Artists sign up (be there at 6:00 to make sure you get a place!)
7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Performance
NOTE:Folks need help now more than ever. We'll collect items for Dove House,including boxed or canned food, women's clothing, personal hygiene products, bus passes and phone cards. See www.indyfolkseries.org and www.uui.org .
