I just received an official e-mail from Lareine's fan club Fleur. They said
that Kazumi will retire from music and withdraw from Lareine at the 3/1
Kawasaki Club Citta live.
Here's my translation of the e-mail.
---------------------
Lareine's first fan club tour is safely over, and the members are daily
preparing rehearsals and recording for the upcoming "Romance Kakumei 2006."
During this, now we must announce some sad news to everyone in Fleur.
At the 3/1 Kanagawa Club Citta performance, at the conclusion of it, in order to
retire from musical activity, drummer Kazumi will leave Lareine.
This conversation was introduced last fall, but frankly the members turned their
eyes away from this fact as they continued activities.
At first Kazumi wished to leave on 3/26, but because Kamijo, Mayu, and Emiru
said "We don't want to make 3/26 a sad day," now the 4 of them suddenly decided
to make his last live the 3/1 one.
We ask for your understanding.
For the sake of Kazumi stepping forward into a new life, and the 3 members of
Lareine who will be left behind, please attend the 3/1 Kawasaki Club Citta
performance.
The members, staff, and everybody concerned are waiting.

The schedule after 3/1 will be Kamijo, Mayu, and Emiru appearing as "Tanbi
Konoe-tai." (Aesthetics Guard Corps)
We ask for your understanding in advance.
And, while Kazumi is currently a member, in the music magazines/etc which will
go on sale at the end of February, Lareine will be taking applications for a
new drummer.
Please understand the decision Kamijo, Mayu, and Emiru have made, "We still
won't be stopped by anyone."
Comments from all the members will appear in the next bulletin.
Below is a comment from Kazumi himself.
On this occasion, I, Kazumi, will retire from music and withdraw from Lareine.
It's strange to say it about myself, but I have a strong curiosity, and in this
one life of mine, I came to think I would like to become connected to more and
more various worlds.
My decision, even though I can perceive it as "selfish" I think in humans it
can't be helped.
Only, in that "selfishness", I want to dare the way of "going one's own path."
Therefore I think it's a plus instead of a minus.
And, I became able to make such a large decision, by thinking of Lareine and
the Fleur.
I feel very proud to have been accepted as Lareine's last drummer.
The future Lareine who hasn't changed until now, I think they will continue to
bloom more melancholy and more beautifully than anyone.
I want the Fleur to continue to bloom beautifully with Lareine in the future.
(My grammar is not up to this long sentence)
Thank you.
I'd like you to come to drummer Kazumi's last live on 3/1.
