Sweet Right Here
SHeDAISY

Lyric Street Records

It’s been two years since the release of Kristyn, Kassidy and Kelsi’s woefully underappreciated sophomore CD, Knock on the Sky. Although it never reached the million-selling status of their 1999 debut, The Whole SHeBANG, it hinted at the Osborn sisters’ potential as a pop-country powerhouse. While their harmonies are as sugary sweet as they are intensely intoxicating, SHeDAISY’s secret weapon has always been sister Kristyn’s considerable gift for a well-turned, and often completely unexpected, phrase. Some may dismiss bits of Sweet Right Here as something akin to the fluffiest of Shania Twain’s crossover creations (like that’s a bad thing), but in time those same naysayers will no doubt find this Sweet stuff swirling around in their heads.

– Stephen L. Betts
