JAH Creation Reggae Band, based out of Wilmington, NC, brings an irie vibe with some of the best roots reggae music around. A full time tour de force, JAH Creation runs the circuit between the Florida Keys and the Jersey Shores, averaging between 15-20 shows per month. On vocals, bass, keys and trumpet is Jimmyjams, whose styles have seen action with regional favorites The Amateurs, and Donovan and the Posse. Bassist/guitarist Carlos International has been a veteran of the reggae scene for almost 14 years, performing with such notables as Jamrock, and Drummie Zeb and The Razor Posse. From Gullah Rootz, on singjay vocals and percussion is General Top Rankin, also a long-time Reggae icon. Rounding out the crew you find the hard working Jerome "Gits" Graham on guitar, and the youthful, yet talented and experienced Ras Cube on drums, who has toured with the Itals, and Joseph Israel. United, JAH Creation manifests into a powerful force of reggae music. No matter what age, race, or creed, everyone seems to love our original songs, as well as the classic covers that we perform. JAH Creation and Gullah Rootz have opened for some of the biggest reggae acts in the world, including Culture, Israel Vibration, Yellowman, Steel Pulse, Third World, Burning Spear, Eek-A-Mouse, and The Wailers. The band has also appeared in two feature films produced in the Cape Fear area entitled Ulterior Motives, and Retribution, released in 2002. Tracks from our CD's are being heard all over the East Coast, from Key West, FL to Charlotte, NC to Baltimore, MD to NYC, and all over the world via internet radio. Whatever the situation, our mission is to bring the people positive music, irie vibes, and to spread the message of Love, Respect, and Unity.
