Your hosts, Stephen and KC, are the parents of a little girl, Mia Lee. We have been attending music festivals for many years, and even have a web site, www.tribaljams.com, which lists and reviews jam band festivals in the Northeast.

I'm sure there are many of you out there, like us, who, after getting married, and especially after having children, seem to have lost touch with your old festival and party buddies, and go to festivals alone, as a nuclear family unit. We have had a lot of fun doing this over the last few years, in fact, we started taking Mia to festivals when she was three months old. We keep thinking how it might be fun though, to make camp at festivals with other families with children so the kids could play together.

We have chosen to go to the more family friendly festivals like the Grassroots festival in Ithaca, NY, where family values and community are emphasized. We hope that there are others like us who are looking for festival buddies.
