Discussion and Information on the recordings and career of JAMES RAMEY , commonly known as BABY HUEY. 350 LB Frontman of the original Baby Huey And The Babysitters. Baby huey died in 1970 the same month as Jimi Hendrix. He had begun recording what was supposed to be his debut album which was poduced by Curtis Mayfield. Tragically he died before its completion. This lone album , " THE BABY HUEY STORY , THE LIVING LEGEND" is a great example of funk and what direction he was heading towards. He only recorded a few singles " Just Being Careful " -" Messin' With The Kid " and " Mighty Mighty Children " and a few songs for his up and coming debut album.
