1# Monday 1 October 2007 sees the release of a new Jamiroquai DVD -
"Jamiroquai - Live at Montreux 2003". In 16:9 wide-screen, Dolby
Digital surround sound and lasting over 140 minutes, this is set to be
a fantastic live recording for all fans, especially as it includes
tracks such as Butterfly and Shoot The Moon.

The track listing, as printed in the press release, will be as
follows:

The DVD will be released through Eagle Vision, who have released a
number of other DVD's from the Montreux Jazz Festival. The
recommended retail price of 14.99 GBP and the barcode is
5034504955270. It is still unknown if this DVD release will be ALL
REGION, meaning it can be played on any Region Encoded DVD player.

2# Here is a quick catch-up on some of Jay's recent car related
activities...

In the middle of June, Jay went along to the Classic Cars night
at the Ace Cafe in London. Some photos of him admiring a Citreon 2CV

In an article at the Independent newspaper (UK) website, Jay was
invited (along with his motorhome) to the Goodwood Festival Of Speed
event held in Goodwood, England, last weekend. Jay has been a
supporter of this event for a few years now.

Earlier this past week Jay was one of the celebrity guests at a
three day special charity driving event held in Le Castellet, France.
The event was arranged by Dubai rally star Mohammed Bin Sulayem and
Tag Heuer.

"During the programme, professional photographs of the drivers and
their cars will be commissioned and a unique record of the event
compiled and stored in an exclusive photo album, titled; "Dream
Machines driven by Generous Hearts;" a publication that celebrates the
very special love affair between influential men and women and the
cars that inspire them. All proceeds from the sale of the book will
support Save the Children's recreational and sports projects around
the world, giving children the opportunity to learn, play and develop.
Save the Children is the world's leading independent children's rights
organisation and works tirelessly to improve the lives of children in
more than 100 countries."

3# In a survey by computer game developers Empire Interactive to
announce the release of FlatOut Ultimate Carnage on the Xbox 360 they
discovered who Brits consider the most irresponsible celebrity drivers
on both sides of the Atlantic...

" Whether you believe men are better drivers than women, Jay Kay
skidded into the overall lead with 31%. A love of super fast cars and
a temper to match has resulted in numerous incidents, most famously
having his £180,000 prized purple Lamborghini Diablo written off."

4# This is a quick message to say that the band which ex-Jamiroquai
writer and keyboard player Toby Smith is working with - The Hoosiers -
has their debut single out this week, entitled Worried About Ray, and
it's doing rather well. It's been getting great support from BBC
Radio 1 on its playlist and on the UK iTunes singles chart it is in
the top 10.
