Hello JAMIROQUAI Club Yahoo Group,
Looks like with all the hoopla about Radiohead releasing their new
album, "In Rainbows", for next to nothing straight to the fans, looks
like Jamiroquai might do the same thing. ALOT OF NEWS TODAY, so
here's the latest:
1# After the recent news item about Jamiroquai signing up to
AllDigDown where they can sell music directly to fans, the Daily
Telegraph newspaper (UK) is reporting that Jamiroquai are rumoured to
be thinking about selling music for little or no money at all. This
is exactly what Radiohead have recently done, giving fans the
opporunity to pay whatever price they want for their album.
"The performers that give away their music for free are expected to
make their money from sales of concert tickets and merchandise.
"They'll all be thinking about it now," said Stuart Clarke at Music
Week. "Any big name that is out of contract such as Jamiroquai and
Oasis will now see it as an option."

the Live From Abbey Road TV series is about to be released in the UK.
Live From Abbey Road - Making Music History Series 1 features
performances from the first series of this television show and
Jamiroquai are one of the artists on disc 1.
According to a news item at My Chemical Toilet (LINK:

)... "The 2 disc DVD also comes crammed with a good helping of
Special features such as extended interviews (much of which is
previously unseen and exclusive to this release), behind the scenes,
picture galleries and more to ensure fans get the full 'live' Abbey
Road experience, all in glorious 5.1 audio."
Amazon.co.uk and Play.com list 15 October as the release date of this
PAL format region 2 DVD.

with other artists (Miriam Lamen and Nude Continuum) he gives an
update on Jamiroquai...
"..been hanging with jay last week and the rest of the gang and
looked at the revamped studio, looking very nice and polished, and
the live room sounds great acoustically, so looking forward to
getting down to some serious work in the very near future..."
