Hello JAMIROQUAI Club Members,
Hope everyone is having some great holidays so far, here's the
latest and it looks like we MIGHT get some new Jamiroquai music next
year! :
1# Jamiroquai bass player Paul Turner has asked me to post the
following message to all Jamiroquai fans....
Hi everyone
I'd like to wish all fans and friends of the band a happy and
healthy new year.
As you know it's been a quiet one for Jamiroquai but plans are now
in place to really kick on with new recording in the new year and
later some live work too.
We're all really excited about a busy year and hope to be sharing
some new tunes to groove to soon.
Have a great Christmas or whatever is your thing.
Lots of love
x Paul

2# According to a news story at BlabberMouth.net Jamiroquai
guitarist Rob Harris is one of the artists performing on the
forthcoming solo album (entitled "A Light in the Sky") by Don Airey,
the keyboardist of Deep Purple. The album is released on 25 February.

3# An interview with Jamiroquai percussionist Sola Akingbola (by
regular funkin.com news contributor Deesha Dyer) about his recently
released Routes to Roots album is currently featured on the
GeoClan.com website. Part of the interview reads as follows:
Q: Although all the tracks are personal to you, can you tell me
which is the one or two that you feel particularly close to?
A: The track I feel particularly close to is track 5 called Ori Ni
Kan. Which means Ori is the One. Ori is that beautiful creative
powerful force that we all have, that enables us to achieve amazing
things. The poem speaks of personal responsibility. The only power
that can follow you to the deepest, furthest place is you. I love this
poem.
The interview can be read in full at the GeoClan.com website
together with a competition to win a copy of the album and some other
Jamiroquai 'goodies' (LINK:

In regards to the question about the past update about that list of
unreleased Jamiroquai copyrighted songs I had found in the past, they
are sadly unreleased. It is not known if they have been recorded, are
in the process of being recorded, or haven't been worked on. They are
simply just titles of prospective Jamiroquai material, if they were
available, you would be the first to know. Sorry, anyway, there's the
latest news, have some great holidays coming up and see you soon with
more Jamiroquai news and happenings! Cheers!
