1# Jamiroquai drummer Derrick McKenzie has posted a new blog entry
to his MySpace site. He provides a short update on Jamiroquai...

"As you know we have had a year off and we are now at the end of
that holiday period, and the good news is that we will make a start on
writing and getting new ideas together for the new album this year,
this will be a process which will take time and we want to release
good quality wholesome music and songs. So we will just get stuck in
and get on with it."

2# At the Rose Bowl football game held on 1 January between USC
(University of Southern California) Trojans and Illinois Illini, the
USC Trojan Marching Band played Jamiroquai's Canned Heat during the
half-time interval. Check out a video of the performance at YouTube

3# US record producer and rapper Kanye West has this past weekend
posted the video to Jamiroquai's Virtual Insanity on his blog.
According to a story at DanceNova.com...

"Although Stronger man Kanye uses his blog regularly to extol the
virtues of expensive champagne, clothing and cars this is the first
time he has mentioned another musician on his blog since he praised
Feist last September."
