I'm looking forward to jamming for the first time with a guy who plays a Hammond
organ. Any tips or issues particular to the interaction between the organ and
guitar? I assume he'll be playing bass lines with his pedals or left hand so I
should lay off the lower strings. What about tone? He'll have all that sustain
and vibrato going on -- what works best with that? Maybe a clean tone without
much reverb to contrast with his? How do you keep from getting overwhelmed by
all the sound coming out of the organ?

I'd appreciate any thoughts or experiences.
