As expected, the band appeared late in the night. If you've missed the band for whatever reason, check out their music at
Upon visiting their home page, their music will play automatically non-stop. If you are new to TBNH, why not try "C'est Magnifigue", "Jump N Move" & "Never Stop".

Najip Ali & DJ Aldrin with another Indian percussionist also gave an interesting opening with a contemporary piece fused with ethnic Indian drums beats.

So don't miss tonite's performance!

The Brand New Heavies (UK)

“Back with a vengeance.” So said The Hollywood Reporter’s Craig Rosen. The Heavies’ triumphant return marks the re-emergence of one of the most innovative, influential, R&B and funk groups of the last 15-plus years. In the mid-1980s, after bonding over their love of American funk and soul music - notably James Brown and the Meters - Simon Bartholomew, Jan Kincaid and Andrew Levy formed The Brand New Heavies as an instrumental outfit. Based in west London, the band fitted perfectly into the rare groove and then acid jazz club scenes at the time, which also became associated with other notable long standing career artists such as Jamiroquai and Incognito.

Jive Talking (SG)

Jive Talking is a veteran Singaporean band with years of great success. Having performed together with some of the world’s most famous musicians like B.B.King, Kenny G, James Ingram and many more, the band never fails to capture the audience’s attention.
