Manhattan based Jen Elliott and her band Bluestruck deliver a wicked mixture of pop, blues and straight up rock that is nothing but pure emotion. Jen has been called "a 21st century siren" and her energy shines from inside each and every song...vivid, honest and seductive. Raised on traditional gospel, she still writes and sings straight from her soul.
Recently, she signed for a multi-album deal with indie record label City Canyons Records here in New York. Her debut album, THE SECRET’S OUT, has received college radio airplay nationwide and she has been featured in issues of Keyboard Magazine, Entertainment Today, The Sun Herald and Inside Connection. To date, Jen has performed at the Global Entertainment and Media Summit 2003 and 2004, A Day in the Park (opening for the band Nine Days), MEANY Fest 2003, the Smirnoff Vodka “Girls Kick A**” series at the Red Lion, the “GoGirlsRock New York” showcase at Arlene Grocery and other top events and venues in New York and New Jersey. The band is currently busy working on a college tour and Jen is already developing ideas for her
next album.
Bluestruck includes, in addition to Jen Elliott on vocals, David Patterson and Anne Husick on guitars, Antar Goodwin on bass and Dawn McGrath on drums.
