I was lucky enough to see Jerry Reed three times in one year in the year 1993.
He was so good! Once during each show I went up to take a picture close to the
stage and he said "You don't have to take a picture of me Honey. I'll come to
your house and sit on your dresser". We all know where that line came from! One
time he came on stage dragging a big garbage can with some dollars in the bottom
that he said Prissy had won in the casino. This I beleive because I happened to
see Prissy at a machine and her bucket was almost running over! At two shows I
was able to get a picture taken with him. He was going to autograph my shirt,but
I didn't have a marker and neither did he! He did sign some albums for me
though. I sure wish he would come back up to the North. I would love to see him
again and I would like to bring my 7 year old grandson because he loves the
Smoky and The Bandit movie and the music in the movie. I have the movie on video
so everytime he stays with us he has to watch it. I love it too and could sit
and watch it as often as he wants to see it. Alot of women would have probably
fallen for Burt Reynolds,but not me. I fell for Jerry Reed!
