Re: [Jethro Tull] Hello Fans of Tull

well hello blockdog it is great to hear from someone from the tull group i have
been in the group for about 3 months & you are the 1st. person i have heard
from,it seems no one is ever here, but i'm a big tull fan, my 1st time was in 78
in cincinnati,it was the live bursting out tour,...it would be great to see the
band get back together for at lest one more tour, members that are still alive

If it's not considered too spammy, I will update the list when done.
Or, I will except my fourty lashes for mentioning such.

I am new to the list, great way to start out, eh ?

I have been a Tull fan since "Stand Up", yes, I am old fart.

I didn't see them on stage until around 1975 when they opened their
U.S. tour in Asheville, NC, of all places.
Still, it was one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen and
still remains in my top 5 live shows ever.
After that night, they started to drop selected elements from that
show.
( due too expense or what have you )
I know, I saw them twice more after on that tour.

I have rubbed elbows with Ian and shook hands with the Martin.
I have collected Tull official "product" for many years and I don't
seem to mind running out and buying the same thing over and over.
( "versions" )

Anyways, howdy.
I don't regale you with the above to seem a braggert, only to qualify
my affection for all things Tull.

Thanks for havin' me,

Block Dog

Not sure why you say "you wish Tull would get back together" because they still are performing, albiet more a nostalgic band nowadays but still doing concerts....

Yes, "Songs From The Wood" is one of my favorites also. Tull could do so much by bringing back past members, maybe doing an acoustic album or a blues album ...
