ok well sorry i stand corrected, i guess i meant to say i wish he could get some
of the members back that he had in the 70's...i think it would be a hell of a
show,i only wish i could have seen him as meany times as you, one of the best
show's i think was whan he released the storm watch album, but when he put out
the A album w/band members from UK i thnk it was? sorry but i didnt much care
for that album, i guess if i had to pick one album as my fav by him it would be
hard, but i think it would be SONGS FROM THE WOOD...

back together" because they
still are performing, albiet more a nostalgic band nowadays but still doing
concerts. Ian tours often as a solo act but Ian solo is not far away from a Tull
show. I'm sure some will disagree with me on that but after seeing Tull and Ian
some 25 times starting in 1970, I think the shows are similar. Either way you
have Ian on flute and the classic Tull misic maybe with different players. I
do miss Martin at the solo shows but the last solo concert I saw, Andy and
Doane were part of the show and Ian always brings along top musicians. After
seeing the same show the last few years I passed this last time because I need
to
hear new material. I can't figure why Ian doesn't stay up-to-date and continue
producing new albums. I understand him slowing down at his age but his fans
would love to hear anything new from him at all. EMI plans to release an
acoustic album in March but it is old acoustic material from various albums
everyone
has heard before. Why not do an entitely new acoustic release, something they
have never done and maybe bring back past members. They could do all the Tull
classics but it would be so different it would be marketable.
