Another connection between The Visitor and Bad Timing (we're really building a conspiracy now) is in the title--in The Man Who Fell to Earth, Nic Roeg's film before Bad Timing, The Visitor is the album released by the Man after he goes into hiding, having given up on the thought of returning home.
