Jayne County appears at the final Wigstock
today;Yvonne let me know during the week that she won her five
year long trademark battle over the rights to the name
Max's Kansas City. I had a conversation with the britsh
record label that released a single by a group calling
themselves the Electric Chairs,a name Jayne coined in 1978
and intends to keep using;it's bad enough that we
didn't go after the Backstreet Boys at the
beginning(since Wayne County & the Backstreet Boys existed since
1975-78,and records with that group name have continued to
remain in circulation) and with 'hedwig' seeming to
resemble key elements of jayne's life story, it seems like
jayne county is one big apple tree, and everyone keeps
picking apples.<br> and then there's the new phase of
jimi lalumia & the psychotic frogs right around the
