25 Dec 2002

==================================================================

According to an article in the current issue of the US music
magazine "ICE" (with Joe Jackson on the cover), Joe's new album
-- entitled "Volume 4" -- will be released in two versions.
The limited edition will include a second CD with live recordings
from the London gig in September. The release date will be
11 March 2003.

Also, the 1982 album "Night And Day" will be re-released by
A&M/Chronicles as a double CD set on 15 April 2003. According
to the article, Disc One will have six bonus tracks which are
previously unreleased demo versions of "Steppin' Out", "Target",
"Cancer", "Real Men", "Breaking Us In Two" and "Chinatown."
The second disc will feature five tracks from the 1983 album
"Mike's Murder" which will be available on CD for the first time:
"Memphis", "Cosmopolitan", "Laundromat Monday", "1-2-3 Go! (This
Town's A Fairground)" and "Moonlight". Furthermore, it will have
include the track "'Round Midnight" from the 19xx Thelonious Monk
tribute "That's The Way I Feel Now", five live songs from the
"Live 1980-86" double album and two rare Spanish versions of
"Target" ("El Blanco") and "Another World" ("Un Otro Mundo").
