Reunion of original Joe Jackson Band
The original Joe Jackson Band (i.e. JJ + Graham Maby, Gary Sanford
and Dave Houghton) are re-uniting for a new album and tour. The band
will be rehearsing and doing some exclusive warm-up gigs in the UK in
September, then recording, also in the UK, in October. The album
release and full tour are expected to take place in March/April 2003.
Joe already has 12 completed songs for the new album, and is still
writing. According to Joe, the album will be "high-energy, fun, and
in the spirit of the first couple of albums, but more mature. I'm a
better writer now, and a better singer. But I've still got a 32-inch
waist".

Joe Jackson's song "Glamour And Pain" - from his latest album "Night
And Day II" - has been remixed by New York DJ DezroK, known for his
remix of the "Star Wars" theme in 1999.
According to an article at Billboard.com, "the track has been
refashioned by DezroK into a peak-hour, Pet Shop Boys-inflected
dancefloor jam, surrounding the vocals with filtered effects, trance-
hued synth patterns, drumrolls, and a rugged bassline."
At present, dance clubs are the only place to hear the "Glamour and
Pain" remix, since there are currently no plans to release it
commercially.
