GrooveLily, the band of Valerie Vigoda - who toured with
Joe Jackson on the Heaven & Hell Tour - have just released their
latest album, entitled "Are We There Yet?"
To celebrate the release of this CD, the Joe Jackson Archive
is giving away three special GrooveLily packages consisting of:
- a copy of "Are We There Yet?" autographed by all three
GrooveLily members: Valerie Vigoda (vocals, violins), Brendan
Milburn (vocals, keyboards) and Gene Lewin (vocals, drums)
- two CDs from the GrooveLily catalogue
- a GrooveLily t-shirt
All you have to do is answer the three questions of my little
quiz correctly and you're in the draw for these packages.
Question 1:
What's the title of GrooveLily's first album, released in 1996?
Question 2:
Which university did both Valerie and Gene graduate from?
Question 3:
What's Brendan's home town?
For details on how to enter this quiz and where to find clues to
the answers, go to:

Gary Sanford, guitarist of the Joe Jackson Band, broke his foot
after the show in Glasgow on 23rd June. The final three UK gigs
have been cancelled - that's Birmingham (25th), Newcastle (28th)
and Norwich (29th). (Please check with the venue directly for
confirmation.) These shows will probably not be re-scheduled.
Gary played the Bristol gig on the 24th against doctor's orders,
so not to disappoint the fans. Now he has to stay in bed with his
foot elevated for at least a week. Hopefully he will be okay for
the rest of Europe, but he will be in a cast for the duration of
the tour.
