Polish pianist, composer and teacher. Born on 4 October 1859 at Lazy, nr Siedlce, the son of Albert Pachulski, a forester on Nadehzda von Meck's estate.

Pachulski studied at the Warsaw Institute of Music, and later (1880-85) at the Moscow Conservatory, where he was taught by Pavel Pabst and Nikolai Rubinstein. His musical development was encouraged by Nadehzda von Meck (whose daughter was married to Henryk's brother, Wladyslaw).

In 1886 Henryk Paculski was appointed as professor of piano at the Moscow Conservatory, and he arranged several of Tchaikovsky's works for piano duet.

Henryk Pachulski died in December 1921 in Moscow, aged 62.
