That's absolutely wonderful! I heard the overture of Mathilde de
Guise in Jena with the Hummel Society several years back when the CD
came out. It's such an exciting piece of music and the musicians had
such fun playing it! I'll definitely try to attend the opera this
winter. I guess it will be the first Hummel Opera performed since the
19th Century! How exciting! :)
