Dear Walther and Luc,
I was fortunate to attend the Orpheus and bacchus festival in Bordeaux in May, and it was just fantastic!
My wife and I were their for the full 9 days, and there was a concert every night, each concert featuring some works of Hummel.
There were 3 outstanding pianists, Madoka Inui, Andrew Brownell and Benjamin Frith.
Andrew played the Piano Sonata in F# Minor, as well as the piano concerto in B Minor arranged for piano, 2 violins, viola and cello.
Benjamin Frith played the Piano concerto in A Minor, arranged for piano, 2 violins, viols and double bass.
Many other pieces were played by Hummel, Chopin,Mozart, Beethoven, Carl Maria von Weber and others.
There will be another festival featuring Hummel next year, and I can highly recommend this experience.

Dear Luc,
unfortunately, I was also not able to go, and I am interested just as you in the outcome. I am also asking myself when the full opera Mathilde von Guise will be available on CD. And still I am waiting for the publication of the "Mönchengladbach Piano Sonata" in E-Flat Major that still has not been recorded yet.
