Pat....I need some Ha Ha's....I cannot believe your grandson is one, must mean your daughter is getting older too...it;s okay, they are merely catching up to us.
Ohhh....Here in RI we still have fish and chips shops and a few still wrap them in newspaper. They are often a Friday specialty...I guess leftover from when Catholics were not allowed to eat meat on Friday (my state is more than 60% Catholic.
I used to love going to pick up the fish and chips on Fridays with my Dad. Sometimes the newspaper wrappings came from other cities so it was a bit of entertainment too. But those poor people running the fish and chip shops....sweat just pouring off them and their hair all bundled in nets, hands all red from the heat coming of the deep fryers....NEVER air conditioning in those places and they used to be soooo busy on Fridays the line would be out the door through the parking lot and onto the sidewalk!
