To answer your question about Lana... I called her last winter, probably around February or so, after Parke wrote in to ask about her. Lana doesn't post much at all any more, but she is still involved with the Windstar half of the Peace Cloth, or at least she planned to be. I told her then to 'call Parke', so she was going to do that to reassure her.
Lana is still working while waiting for a lung transplant, using oxygen to help her compensate for her breathing issues. I 'think' that Lana is dealing with 'pulmonary hypertension', and that is a pretty serious medical issue that often mimics asthma. She goes to the Cleveland Clinic for treatments and check-ups, but she is still keeping a very positive attitude and 'waiting patiently' for her transplant. Her daughters are 'grown' now and living in other parts of the state, but I think that her parents live close to her.
She sounded great when I talked to her, and I posted at that time about our conversation. She does check email 'some', so feel free to write to her. Let me know if you want her email address.....
