With great sadness, we said good-bye to the Father of Rock 'N Roll Music, Mr. Johnnie Johnson in April 2005. But his legacy will live on forever in the music he created, and the love he gave so generously to family and friends. Johnnie was 80 years old.

The Johnnie Johnson Blues & Jazz Society is dedicated to promoting blues and jazz music throughout the West Virginia region. Our foremost event of the year is the Annual Johnnie Johnson Blues & Jazz Festival, however, we sponsor many blues and jazz events all year long!

In honor and loving memory of Johnnie Johnson, we are proud to invite you to join us at the 5th Annual Johnnie Johnson Blues & Jazz Festival, where we pay tribute to Johnnie Johnson! August 25-27, 2006.
