I tested multimode with 6 patchs

Can anyone tell me why  some patch interfer on another.

EXEMPLE: take 2 patchs   : I use Patch factory 009  and the 139

009 is a sweep pad and 139 a bass ligne

when  my 2 tracks play ;   the sound of 139 is changed!!!
WHY????

If I change 009 to another patch there is no problem.

IN my case with 6 patchs wich play in same time ,I have just the
problem with 139 which is influenced by the patch 009!!!

Is it possible to change the range of the pitch bend wheel on a
sound????


In the multi mode how can we control a patch via midi without be
in edit assign mode (which make only one patch controlled via
midi and not the other).

I would like to record and playback midi info knob movement
cUTOFF for a  PAD sound and knob mvt resonance for a bass
line.

Any ideas

Hi Alex,

This is the same multimode bug everyone has been talking about.  Not
everyone experiences it but it seems most do.  Seems to be both patch
dependent and maybe setup-dependent. I used to but thought it went
away with OS 1.10.

I still have the factory patches below 176 intact, so I'll test it
tonight with 009 and 139. (Thanks for trying the factory patches!!!)

When is Jomox going to address this, since most users are now
reproducing it with even the latest OS????

I think a lot of us are waiting to know!!

Which OS version.

If you have anything below 1.10 you must upgrade, I had all kinds of
midiclock issues with my AMT8 before this specific version.

Anyway try upgrading to the latest OS.

Does anyone know of an editor for the airbase that is compatible
with the Mac?  Preferably a shareware program, but would like to
hear about any.

bought a used Airbase the other day.

Got problems with changing the Midi channel from 1 to 10.
Can't get into Midi mode - Master light stays on.

Who can help?

you need to disable the "play" feature, so you can go to midi mode.
don´t have the box here, but I remember that got on my nerves, too :)

the play setting is hidden somewhere in the menus, if I get to my airbase, I
can give you a detailed description...

maybe someone on this list is faster.

In Midi-Mode you can edit parameters important to Midi operation.
Press the Play/Midi button to activate Midi Mode.

I wrote a message on a BUG with my MT4 and my SUNSYN.
ON APPLE CONFIG

THIS IS NOT THE FAULT TO SUNSYN but to THE MT4 DRIVER

If you are using LOGIC audio : you 'll have no problem with MT4


MT4 is Bugging(:-)   with OMS midi config like: Cubase or
Protools V5.2

If you are working on PROTOOLS you will have to update to
Version 6 on MAC OS X   (THANKS APPLE to create this fucking
OSX wich looks like the great WINDOWS).
Mt4 works well on PROTOOLS6 (PT6 does'nt use OMS anymore)

BUT you will lose all your plugins (thanks PROTOOLS)

to finish I REPORT A BUG WITH MT4 (hahahahah) on LOGIC
and PROTOOLS 6:

in Logic or PT6 you can choose which PORT MIDI will send Midi
BEAT CLOCK : If you select two port MIDI then you
harware(XBASE09) will receive TEMPO X2  faster

You just have to select one PORT for MBClock: one port selected
= all port having midi beat clock

THANKS TO READ ME and today I hate PC, MAC and all
numerical devices (if you have the money to buy an SSL
Numerical CONSOLE  FORGET this idea, these Console at 500
000 Euros are Clicking)
Wih 500 000 Euros I will buy Many SUNSYN to have A  fully real

press master button, then press right cursor button
twice. set play parameter to 'off' if that wasn't the
case. now you should be able to change the midi
channel.

You are right Multimode ON the SUNSYN is very bugging.

It is hard for me to play 2 sounds in the same time.

it alot because of the sound but I always sample it into something
else.  Because I never quite thought the software was finished on the
xbase I never considered looking at the sunsyn until I was confidant

Are you using 2.09 Firmware with 3 extra midi tracks? We have very few
complaints since this update has been out in 1999...The midi sync works 100%
including song position pointer, also the other midi functions like note
trigger and CC's.

Unit does not have a scratch on it.  Mint.  Warranty card not filled
out.  3 months old.  Selling to cosolidate my studio.  $2300 OBO.

especially in the area of saving presets and controlling them through midi. =

I guess I'd have to agree that it's a bit
inconsistant. Sometimes when I've saved preset
patterns(with sounds) I come back and the sounds are
all different. Don't get me wrong, I do love the thing
but I have had a certain amount of frustration with it
too.
     By the way, I'm the guy who wrote awhile ago about
trying to copy a brush snare sound that I had gotten
an excerpt of that supposedly came from an exbase. We
concluded that it couldn't possibly have come from an
exbase. I discovered later that the sound excerpt came
from Zzounds. If you go to their site they have some
MP3 samples of what the exbase can do. Some of the
sounds are the exbase but that one that I really
wanted to copy was not. I was going to write them
about it but couldn't figure out how to do it. Maybe
someone should mention it to them. That sound actually
was the final thing that pushed me over the edge to
buy one.

One more thing: I've been able to get my sequencer to sync the
Jomox but I've never gotten the Jomox to control the seqencer so
I haven't been able to use Shuffle.

Alex, It's true, the snare Detune doesn't do anything
in most cases but there ar some settings(when Snap and
Noise Tune are very low) that it can act as a Fine
Tune for the pitch. I think it's range in about a
+3rd. At least that's what it does on mine. Maybe it
does something else that I haven't discovered yet.

can somebody help me a play the new os on the unsyn and now i cant change
anything on the singlesounds 1 - 120
i only hear there a strange sound which is not changeable leftbeside of the
singlesound are only blackpoints!!
has somebody lse this problem and can give me a tip?

does somebody have a   sunsyn and a mac  , i tried several times to upload
the firm soundset but it doesnt work ! i tried it with the cubase demo
version which is for free the sunsyn shows midi receive but the sounds where
not on .....

Hi everyone, I am having trouble finding a replacement for one of my X-Bases'
Illuminated step buttons. I have been searching the net for days to find an
equivalent tact switch!! No luck yet. Does anyone know where to get one? Or who
might manafacture these for JoMoX? I have tried contacting them, but they do not
reply.
