Is it one of the best analogs, or just average?
I heard they are ver buggy.

What do you all have to say about this?

Here is some info coming up on ah.  I think things are looking better.  I might be joining the ranks soon ;p

Hear hear!

Fixed voices assignement was the natural and simple way to cure most
multitimbral problems.

Cheating yes! But dynamic assignement is exactly the kind of edge-of-doom
thing that no one should start up to code without making his testament
before.

Got the xbase09 second hand recently !

The thing sure rocks, only problem is
i cant seem to make the it respond to
song position.

This is the first time i am trying to use a
rythmbox in my studio setup (cubase etc)
so maybe i just dont get it, but should'nt
I, when slaving the xbase to cubase, be able
to say set up a loop somewhere in cubase and
have the xbase sync/start to the "song position"
protocol in midi clock (automatically) transmitted
by cubase ?

As it is now it just continues from where it left off,
even between steps, only rewinding cubase to 0
does the trick.

Could a newer os/chip do the trick, im having a hard time
getting info on prices and availability etc. on these chips
could someone help me out ?
ps : I live in Copenhagen Denmark.

You can audition closed hihat from the front panel, but not pedal or
open hihat. Is this true or am I missing something? For sampling, I
would rather trigger from the front panel than from a keyboard. Can
anyone help me?

Yes, it's true. The audition function works only on the previous triggered
type of Hi Hat. You'll have to trigger it by a midi keyboard...which is
better anyway.

Greetings

at my SunSyn the release stage of the envelopes VCA is a little bit strange, because if the release exceeds the point (potentiometer) of 11 o'clock they rings already after certain time, however, it is still after several minutes or said better lasting a part of the Sounds listen too.
First again if the release is back before 11 o'clock the sound concluded off, but when I open it again more further the Sound comes back without a new note is to be played, again
( 8 single outputs or Stereo outs tested, OS 1.11)

perhaps it is to solve it with a calibration, only this is written in english, and with my olschoolenglisch i not really understand this.
i search for a german calibration page.

Thanks and greetings

Hello

I don't understand very well what happens on your
RELEASE ENV2 (VCA).

But try a simple Calibration with AUTO TUNE FUNCTION
( button VCO SYNCH + RESTART) and hear if there is
any changes.( don't forget to warm up your SYN ANALO
before Calibration :-) )

Hi, I like my snare laidback, a few ticks delayed.

Unfortunately it seems that in shuffle mode all instruments in one
step are moved to delayed or anticipated position.

How can I just shift the snare or hihat?

Nick,

I am the U.S. distributor for JoMoX products. I'm not sure about used
units, but there is one new unit available in the U.S., and that's at
sonichighway, com. There is a small chance that I'll be getting one
more unit in before the end of the year, but that's far from certain!

Hope that helps...

Thanks for the info John. The only way I might be able to afford one
though is used. So i'll have to wait and see if there is a used one
I can afford. I hope Jomox continue to make other synths, because
they got the right idea.

Hello Sunsyn users and MAc USers!!!

You have a sunsyn and you work on a MAC???? Yes ???

ok!!

I tested all the configurations to save or load our own presets on the sunsyn

the only way to make a bulk dump or load wich work on a MAC, is to use
MAC OSX and SYSEX LIBRARIAN.

It's work fine with my MIDIMAN 2X2 usb interface midi.

I did not test an OS upload but I think it will WOrk fine for future OS version.

To save your preset use : Menu Midi-----> SYSEX-------> Bdump on the
sunsyn OS1.11

To load your preset use:Menu Midi-----> SYSEX-------> Bload

Enjoy it !!!!

Alex

PS: Sorry Juergen for my agressive Mail :-)

PS2: When I bought my SUNSYN in MARCH 2003 , I had 255 presets in
memory......... but when I tested BULK operations I chrashed all this 255
presets.
Can anyone send me these 255 factory presets because on Jomox site there
is just the old 150 factory preset (earlier OS version)?

Thanks

«organic electro beats» is pure rhythm for the
d a n c e f l o o r ,
featuring the idea of minimalism and live energy.

it is a solo groove performance of the german drummer oli
rubow, a hand-played electronic live set without any loops,
playbacks or programmings.
it is only one person, an electronic drumset (ddrum4, tama
techstar, vermona drm) and some decent effects!

it is minimal-house in realtime with space for improvisation and
interaction!
groove galore!

in november 03 oli has recorded his electronic visions.
the CD (42 minutes with 126 and 135 bpm) will be released on
12/12/2003.

Hello list members. Here is some news from Jargon regarding the sunny OS
update. The original question's were: Will Gomorra have a booth at the
winter NAM and whets up with the sunny OS update?

Here is his reply:

Hello,

no, we'll not have a booth and I will not visit the NAM. John van Nest
will be there on 1-2 days and keep the contacts with some dealers.
The sunny evolves more these days as I have finished the arpeggiator
update and will publish
this in a few days. More is to come.
