Soul SirkUS—guitarist Neal Schon and drummer Deen Castronovo of Journey, former
Yngwie Malmsteen and Talisman singer Jeff Scott Soto (who also provided lead
vocals for the feature character in the movie “Rock Star”) and bassist Marco
Mendoza (Ted Nugent, Whitesnake)--has been forced to postpone their upcoming
West Coast dates, which was set to kick off this Friday, January 7 in San Diego
and conclude January 15 in Lake Tahoe. Dates are currently being rescheduled
for April and will be announced soon. After months of touring with Journey and
finishing Soul SirkUS’ debut WORLD PLAY album (out now exclusively on the band’s
website, www.soulsirkus.com), drummer Deen Castronovo has been diagnosed with
extreme dehydration and exhaustion, and has been ordered by his doctors to rest.
The band offers their fans their sincerest apologies and look forward to getting
on the road. Stay tuned for details.
