World premiere of works by Nikolai Kapustin

Ludmil Angelov will perform the world premiere of several new works
composed by celebrated Russian composer Nikolai Kapustin. The
performances will be held within the XII Edition of Toledo
International Music Festival and Maestro Kapustin is expected to
attend them. On May 4th, 2006 will be performed his Concerto for
violin, piano & strings, and on May 19th, 2006 a special concert will
be dedicated to Kapustin's music, including works like his String
Quartet, a Trio for flute, cello & piano, solo piano works and the
Concerto for 2 Pianos & Percussion.

As far as I know, Kapustin will be at the 19th May concert, so if
you're anywhere near Toledo at that time, do try and go! The Toledo
Festival website is www.toledofestival.com but I can't (at a quick
glance) yet see anything about the 2006 programme.
