Hey Everyone
I've only just joined this group, but I am a HUGE Kasey fan. I saw
her in Tamworth at the beginning of the year and she was absolutely
fabulous. I managed to get the whole thing recorded on video and
photos galore. The zoom on my camera wasn't the best, but I'm
virtually on stage with her in the video, its great! I've been a huge
fan for a few years now, I first saw her on Good Morning Australia
years ago when she sang the Captain, and have loved her ever since! I
love her earlier music with the Dead Ringer Band, and can't get
enough of it. I met her dad at 'The Pub' in tamworth when Camille
Tenahu (one of her backing singers) was releasing her first album.
Was fantastic! Kasey did a cameo with her dad when was playing
at 'The Pub'...he was there at 2pm every day! =) I think some people
would call me obsessed...I know my mother does lol, but she is
someone who I really am inspired by. I've got tickets to see her at
her Newcastle show at the Civic Theatre in 12 days time, and I cannot
wait! I've booked to go to tamworth again next january (I have been
every year since I was born because I have family in tamworth and
have always loved country), and can't wait to see Kasey in the Park
again raising money for Drought Relief! She really is an amazing
musician!

P.S. Is anyone else Dixie Chicks fans??? I got pretty much front row
tickets to see them at their second concert in sydney in Oct! Can't
wait for that one either! = )
