Hey Stephen
I only have the best of album by the Dead Ringer Band, and Kasey is
prominent throughout it...The Dead Ringer Band is slower than Kasey's
own albums, It is more like 'real country music' if I can say that.
lol I think you'd love it...I sure do!
And for your second question...is the Barricades and Brickwalls DVD
in the US, the same as the Aussie version? I am assuming it would be,
but thought I would check. If it's the same Stephen, then yep it's a
must have! It really gives you an insight behind her music, and her
performance is awesome as per usual.
It's hard working out if her performances would be different
depending on where you are, like I would love to see her in the US,
just to know if she performs and is as comfortable there as she is on
stage here at her home country.
I think Kasey is one of the rare artists who actually gets better
when she is live compared to in the studios...that is just my
opinion, but I don't think her albums, as good as they are, do
justice to her voice. She is amazing and I don't think its often you
find someone who does a better job in front of an audience compared
to the safety and technology of a studio.
Anyway, I'm getting more excited every day!! A week today and I'll be
seeing her here! She really takes you in and makes you feel like you
know her personally. Its amazing!
And the day after Kasey's playing here, Adam Harvey and Beccy Cole
are playing too...I know Kasey and Beccy are buddies, maybe she'll do
a cameo! hehe I can only wish! =)
Ohhh and while I am here, I'll let you all know, I've started a group
for anyone who's interested in country music (not to take anything
away from this group!!), but just a place for any country lovers!
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/countrycapital/
Feel free to join and post as you like!
Thanks, hope that helped you Stephen!
Kirsten.

If I were you and B&B? Is she prominent on these albums? I`ve seen
the B&B DVD offered as PAL no region which I can play, is this
performance a must have? I saw the soundstage performance (what there
was of it) that had songs from the B&B album. Thanks, Stephen
