Oh, thank you Jtstory. I'm afraid I was maudlin
drunk when I posted that, feeling sorry for myself and
guilty about all the stupid things I've said over the
years. I was harking back to the late 1980s, when I
actually met a few Kate fans in person, and they all hated
me and thought I was a scoundrelly guy and kind of
shunned me. This was when I was in college (and too
darned old to be there, too). And I actually wrote Kate
a letter in the late 1990s (nine years after the
fact) and complained to her about it, as if it was her
fault or she could do anything about it. Of course she
didn't answer such a ridiculous letter. And I have
worried since that she might have been upset by it, or
that I might even get in trouble about it.
