Kathie Sullivan is from Kenosha, Wisconsin.Kathie was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on May 31,1953. Kathie attended Tremper High School. Kathie got her big break when she was in college. Lawrence Welk was in Madison, Wisconsin holding auditions for The Lawrence Welk Show. Kathie was encouraged by a friend to enter the contest and she auditioned. Kathie sang the song "Bill" from the musical "ShowBoat". Lawrence Welk was just so taken by Kathie's beautiful soprano voice, he immediately asked Kathie to join the television show. The rest is history...Since the Lawrence Welk Show ended in 1982,
Kathie has been a gospel singer and recording artist.Kathie's first album titled "Kathie Sullivan" came out in 1980. Then came "I Will Praise Him". Third album was titled "The Very Best In Me". Then came her fourth album "There's A Reason". Kathie is now married with children, so when she does find time to give a church concert, it's definately a treat for everyone.
