I borrowed from a friend Sounddiver 2.0.6 specifically because it lists
the K5 as having an editor as well as the usual librarian featured in
it, don't bother though, it has the librarian alright, but when you
click on a sound it comes up on screen "no editor yet", PAH!

Still haven't found a commercial quality editor for the K5, does anyone
know of one?

jboy, well, you could try transmitting one of SysEx files from Kawai back to your K3. They have a ZIP file with about 17 SYX files, each containing a patch...
