This is Rocío Fernández, from Asturias, Spain. I
am an Economist and work at the City Hall. I am a
big Kenny G fan and it was nice to hear you say that
you wanted to know some of us.<br>I am a 28 year old
girl, and I "met" Kenny's music in 1.990, when his song
Silhouette was played in the Spanish radio stations. I am a
very big fan of Michael Bolton too and I met Kenny
through Bolton, when they performed "Don't Make Me Wait
For Love" on the "LIVE" album, by Kenny, and when
they performed together at the Grammy Awards, when
Michael won his first Grammy.<br>I think that Kenny's
sensibility to express his feelings through his music is
amazing. He is really the best sax player all over the
world. He is a virtuous and, at the same time, he has a
unique sound, that makes him completely different from
all the others. I am so tired of people saying that
they hate him because he is not a jazz musician, and
when he did the album "Classics in the key of G",
there was a real revolution for using Louis Armstrong´s
voice in "What a wonderful world". I am tired of
entering discussion places where everybody insults him and
even when he attended a jazz festival sometime ago,
people left messages asking him not to go to destroy
their jazz festival. I don't like these type of
messages. If you don't like it, just don't listen to him.
The problem is that he sells more records than any
other instrumental artist. Many pop stars would dream
of sending the same number of albums.<br>Kenny is
smart, always kind and smiling to his fans. He came to
Spain in concert last time in 97 and I couldn't attend
the concert. Now I would be so happy if he would
decide to come...<br><br>He is a fantastic person,
that's the sensation that I have and, besides, he is
very humble and down-earthed, inspite of all the
success that he has always had.<br><br>I was thinking
lately that he is a bit lazy, because I can't wait more
to listen to his next album. The other day on Ebay
there was an album of him, titled: "The Woman I
Remember", and I could see a picture of the leaflet, of the
cd and of the back of the cd and it said copyright
2.001, produced by Kenny G, with Arista's mark and
everything. So, I bought it immediately. I hope I haven't
made a mistake, but I don't think they could make a
false cd. I hope to receive it soon. I checked his
official website and Arista's one, and there are no
mentions at all to the new album. Even they are placing
his photo on "Faith". I don't know what's
happening.<br>By the way, do you have some performances of Kenny
on US television?, or magazines, or interviews in
radio?. I would love to get lots of this items, but it is
very difficult in Spain, except when he comes doing
the promotion of one album. I would love to talk to
you about this more slowly, to see if we could share
some information on Kenny. I would be so
