I never take time to watch music videos but here's one video I had to look out for after listening to this song over and over today (I think about 40 times). even before I watched the video or read more about the song, in my mind I had the idea that it is the kind of song that best comes out during a live concert in some park with so many trees, played among the last songs in the concert at about 5.30 pm as the sun starts getting less stronger and when everybody's just getting tired from dancing only to get rejuvenated with the sound of "The Saints Are Coming".
Ask me how I would envision the crowd feeding in on this, well the first strums of the guitar led by the mellow piano brings an uproar which as it starts to fade, Bono creeps in and the renewed uproar makes the piano fade out. The crowd puts itself together in straight lines side by side and everyone holds each others shoulders and they all start to sway from side to side as Bono belts into the mic. When the drum beats start pounding away the swaying transforms to a jump (punk style) as Billie Joe takes it away.
Well that's my just my imagination on how I would see the song making a very big impact on whoever gets involved in a live performance. Great song I would say, best new song (for me at least) so far I have heard this month and possibly year. Check out the video on YouTube. I recommend a download, you will not regret it.
