Ok, so today I go to the venue of the screening just
to confirm that everything is ok. Shock on me! I am
told that I have to make a couple of copies of the DVD
because if the computers share only one, they will
hang/crash. And I sat there thinking to myself NOW WHY
DIDN'T YOU MENTION THIS TWO WEEKS AGO WHEN I FIRST
APPROACHED YOU???!!! So the Afro-punk screening is
cancelled until further notice. It's for the best
anyway. As mambono mentioned, some of you people will
be nursing Rocktober fest hangovers on Sunday:-) And a
third of the ROFFEKE founding members will not be able
to make it.(Sorry Josephine. Please don't lose the
psyche:-) And only a handful of people from the two
groups have confirmed that they will attend. So the
cancellation is an opportunity for those who haven't
sent emails saying they will attend (and with how many
people they will come with), to do so. Please do so.
It helps me to plan.
