I'm glad to see I'm welcome here, despite my clumsiness. :-) Me
three on the falling up steps thing. I've also been pummled in the
mouth with a tennis racket, cutting my lower lip and chipping a
tooth (now its hardly noticable thank goodness). My softball coach
threw a ball at me by accident because he didn't see me, and hit me
in the nose when i was 12. I've also been hit in the face by
baseballs, soccerballs, volleyballs. Luckily no bowling balls.
I've fallen on ice and bruised my tailbone...fallen on air and
bruised my tailbone. I've dropped a computer monitor on my big toe
(that was just dumb on my part). Fallen IN in the door and gashed
my leg and should have, but didn't get stitches.
All that pales in comparison to a person very close to me who fell
asleep, and fell off the toilet.

I only run in to walls at work, but i think that is cuz i am in a
hurry. BUT i have been hit by a parked car before. and to top it
off i have it on video lol. ok that is my story.

You mean like putting something say...a remote where it's supposed
to be and saying firmly...Stay!. That's what I end up doing. Other
than scolding them for getting in my way.
Oh and Maddie? I've been working on the conspiracy theroy (sp) for
a long while now. I still can't figure out who/what is behind this
yet either.
They don't so much as jump out in front of me anymore. They just
wait patiently until I'm in a real hurry and sneak up behind
(beside, infront etc.) Happens alot at work.

It's the doorways. They move to trick you. It's all an evil
conspiracy...I don't know who is behind it yet, but it is one all the
same.
Same with all other inatimat objects. Ever notice how they just JUMP
right out in front of you and cause you to hit them or fall over
them??? Not all a coincidence I say....

I walk into doorways too, like Amy said. Either my size changes or
the doorway keeps moving ;-)
I wonder why it is that women walk into things more than men...

I think it's worse when you're going up the stair carrying something
big that you can't see around and you think there's one more step,
when actually there isn't. Dang, that hurts! Going down isn't much
better...
Just a little tidbit of info: It is a proven fact that women run in
to things more than men do. Don't ask me who proved it. It's just
something my sister told me. It's also proven that women can pick
things up with their toes more easily than men, but that's off the
subject.
Done rambling now...

I don't trip over stuff... I get attacked by them. I was attacked by
a mailbox which caused the nice, neat scar on my left knee. (For
those interested, the mailbox was NOT on the ground. It was on a
post near the road. It jumped off the post and attacked me.)
And Kevin's response to "how's the toe?" was "OUCH"

I have no idea what that was back there. delete that last
one..specially since it makes no sense. I just don't know how it
happened. i don't think I double clicked....
I've slammed my finger in a car door and also had many people slam
my fingers in doors. Ever gotten a shiner from being run into by
your baby sister? My nose was swollen for a week. Maddie...I
thought I was a clutz! :) I'll have to remember that air pocket
line! At work we all seem to trip over one area of rug so we kid
each other about the speed bump in the carpet!

packing late at night and didn't want to disrupt the family's
sleeping so was packing in the dark.
But then again, I walk in to doorknobs. So who knows.
