HELP KEVIN CHANGE THE WORLD!

A Lasting World (ALW) invites you to take part in a charity fundraiser that
will help Kevin Richardson's Just Within Reach Foundation (JWR) CHANGE the
world!

Each year JWR awards a total of six $2000 scholarships to college-bound
students majoring in the environmental sciences and/or in marine studies. These
students will go on to become tomorrow's leaders and tomorrow's advocates for a
better, healthier Earth.

ALW has made a commitment to sponsor one of the $2000 scholarship awards for
the 2003-2004 year. In order to do this, we need your help!

Find yourself an empty container, jug, chest, pot, bucket, box, bag, ceramic
bank or other coin holder. Decorate your container in any creative way you
wish -- paint it, stamp it, stencil it, draw on it, cover it with stickers, glue
things to it, etc. Incorporate the theme of the project "Help Kevin CHANGE
the World" into your decorated holder.

THEN....from now until February 10, 2004, save all your loose, spare change
and place it in your decorated container -- your container is your savings
bank! You know the change we're talking about -- those pennies you get back from
your fast food purchases, the nickels they hand you back after you pay at the
grocery store or gas station, or the change that's returned to you after you
purchase movie tickets, your latest CD, etc. Better yet -- skip one cup of
coffee per week and throw those quarters into your bank. Eat at home and
deposit
into your decorated container the money you'd spend on a burger/fries combo!
Save, save, save!

After February 10, 2004, you will be asked to mail your filled, decorated
container to ALW. Each bank will be photographed with a digital camera, and all
photos will be forwarded to JWR, where two members of that organization will
judge them on the basis of creativity and theme. One winner will be selected,
and the photo of that winner's bank will be featured on the ALW website, in the
ALW March newsletter. The grand prize winner will also receive an
AUTOGRAPHED KEVIN RICHARDSON 'CHICAGO' PLAYBILL FROM NYC; AN EXCLUSIVE, COLOR,
8X10
PHOTO OF KEVIN IN NYC; AND AN EXCLUSIVE, COLOR PHOTO BUTTON OF KEVIN.

All banks entered in the contest will become the property of ALW. NO banks
will be returned. After the contest, ALL MONEY FROM ALL ENTRIES will go
directly to JWR for the 2003-2004 Scholarship program. If they are reusable,
all
decorated banks, will be donated to local Headstart programs, to be used as
gifts for underprivileged children. If they cannot be used as gifts, the banks
will be recycled.
