I hope you are all doing well. My daughters are out of school for the
summer and we took a short vacation to the beach. I had a wonderful
time, but playing with jubal tonight in Cary, and seeing you again
will be worth the trip home:

ALSO on Sunday, Carrboro is having it's annual Fete de la Musique. It
is a day long music festival with many local and regional artists.
It's free and is a great way to spend Father's Day! jubal & I will be
playing at the Train's Cafe from 6 - 6:20.

I like to share info about the music industry with you all, and here
is a great article written by Courtney Love. It talks about the major
labels, the internet, and the music biz. This sheds some light on why
many of us choose to stay independent, and not try to get major label
