Hello, and happy February!
This month Jubal and I are playing out less, but there are lots in
our lives to keep us busy. . . . like taxes ( sorry to mention that
for those of you who are dreading this as much as me), setting up a
new tour up north for the early part of May, and kicking off a fund
raising campaign for my daughter.
Yep, my daughter Casey (11 yrs. old) has been selected to be
a "People To People Student Ambassador". We are all thrilled with
this honor, and even more excited with the opportunity to travel that
she has been given. She will be going to the "land down under".
That's right, Australia! and for 16 days. Of course, having both
parents with careers in the Arts, she is doing a fund raiser to help
her get there. We are raffling an original oil on canvas, painted by
my husband, George Buchanan. To find out more, and how you can get
tickets, please click here:

Jubal and I really enjoyed the first leg on the NCSC (North Carolina
Songwriter's Co-op) Mini Tour. It kicked off at the Coffee Mill in
Clayton, and was such an enjoyable night. What a nice new venue we
have been introduced to. A real listening audience that gave us such
a welcome!
The other folks on the tour the Mystery Tour" include: Carol
Thompson, Alysson Light, Mike Germano, Greg Taylor, and 2 alternates -
Jon Zachary, and Tracy S. Feldman. For more information about the
NCSC, check out their website http://www.ncsongwriters.org and then
you can click on the Mini Tour link. There are so many talented folks
in the area, and I hope you get an opportunity to see lots of them
this year!

in April. There have been several technical snags, so I have decided
it best to postpone or at least change venues for this. I will
definitely let you know all the changes.

Thanks again to all of you for your continued support and
encouragement.
Please remember Art is not a luxury, Art is a necessity, and we all
need it in our lives. Your support of Independent musicians, and
artists, is more appreciated than you may ever know.
