Hello ~
I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend. I was able to share mine with some wonderful musicians, and had a blast.
Friday night we were joined on-stage be several members of a group called Kind Of Blue out of Winston-Salem. Zoo played bass and Allison stepped in a couple times for beautiful harmonies. What a great time and a great audience we had, especially considering it was Good Friday the 13th.
Saturday night we went to enjoy our friend's music. Meghan Cary played at the Coffee Mill in Clayton, and it was so much fun and a great show. I even joined her on-stage for a soulful version of Angel From Montgomery. So much fun swapping harmonies and leads! After that show we headed to see the last song of David LaMotte at the new venue in Cary, the Six String Cafe & Coffee House. It was standing room only, and a wonderful venue to hear music. You can check it out on May 18th when jubal & I will be performing there.

Now that we have had a good touch of the beautiful summer and spring, we are going to see how much we really appreciate it when the temps reach back to freezing much of this mid week. Stay warm, safe and remember . . . .smile ~ it's the best way to warm your heart, & those around you!
