Happy July to you all! ( Although, officially this is only June 30th)
On The Home front. . . .
I have really been enjoying the family time this month, and it seems to have been a month for acquiring more family members. We have added to our household: 2 Iguanas - Oscar & Olli, a bunch of fish, and as of Wednesday, a new puppy. He's probably mostly Shepard around 8 weeks old, and today his name is Darwin - his name has been changing quite a bit. We seem to be on the receiving side of lots of love (and licks, and ankle bites. . .) these days.
My daughter, Casey leaves Australia tomorrow and I am looking forward to hearing all her adventures. She did get a chance to send us an email from an animal sanctuary, and she is holding a Koala. She is a wonderful songwriter I met at the Folk Alliance Conference a couple of years, and is now living in PA. Funny, when we started chatting, I found out that she had lived quite a few years in the Durham area, and considers this a second home.

Then Jubal's Jubilee performs at 3 pm at the Otter Stage. A family oriented percussion, storytelling and singing event!
