I wanted to update you on this weekend's performance schedule.
 
Friday, July 20
Border's Books & Music
NORTH Raleigh, Six Forks & Strickland

( jubal and Mike will both be with me for this one)

(Jubal will be out of town, but Mike will be joining me here)
 
For those of you who haven't heard Mike with us yet, come on out. You are definitely in for a special treat. His is a wonderful violinist, and adds such beauty to the music.
 
I head out of town until mid August, and then return to the Six String Cafe with a great friend of mine, Meghan Cary on August 17th.

August 12 - UNDER THE WILLOW  House Concert. We are hosting a house concert on our beautiful property in Person County to help spread the word about Meghan. She is an incredible talent, and performer. I know that once you hear her and see her perform you will be hooked.
 
The show will start at 4:00 pm, Sunday afternoon. Weather permitting, it will be an outdoor concert, and you are encouraged to bring your blanket, and a picnic, wine & cheese or whatever you would like to munch on. Also, bring a desert to share. We will provide coffee and tea. If it rains the event will be moved inside.
 
We are not asking for a cover charge, BUT we will ask you to donate some money ( perhaps $5 per adult) for her travel expenses.
 
 If you are interested, please email me to Rsvp( kimbuck2@...) . It will be a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

The Benefit we played on Friday night was incredible. Seeing the out-pouring of friends and family to support Kathy Leahan was beautiful.
 
Here is something you can do that will help many woman:
The Breast Cancer site needs us all to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a  minute to go to their site & click on "donating a mammogram" for free  - their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits  to donate a mammogram in exchange for advertising.
