Wow! It's here!

Well, no, not a REAL baby, but it sure was labor intensive. The comparisons are pretty great....
   creation time of 9 - 10 months,
not sure what it would turn out like,
pouring heart, soul and love into it,
feeling like your body was being overtaken -(due to lack of sleep worrying about its arrival)
. . . and hoping that the world would welcome it with open arms

The actual arrival of my new 'baby' was Friday, March 22 at 1:30 pm, and it was a relatively painless delivery.  She, we call her "Illusions", weighs less than a pound, is 5 3/4" wide, 5" tall, and less than a 1/2 inch wide.. . and very bright. . well that's due to the incredible artwork by one of my favorite artists, George Buchanan (www.georgebuchanan.com)

Being a proud 'mother', I am in the process of sending discs out to radio stations, and her first airplay ( at least to my knowledge) was last Friday at WFSS, (Fayetteville, 90.1 FM) on a show called ;'Free Flight', hosted by Jim Graves. He posted this brief review on the net, and this is what he said:
"... This is a lushly produced collection of  songs, with violin, flute, bass, guitar, and Kim's percussionist, Jubal.  It is a collection of moods, from sad to outraged to searching.  She offers versions of "White Rabbit" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" here, as well as a few instrumental pieces.  Very nice, and quite different from a lot of
what's out there.  "
If you have connections with radio stations you would like to be playing "Illusions", please let me know. Thanks.

The Importance of Having the Correct E-Mail Address!

It seems there was this couple from Minneapolis who decided to go to Florida for a few days to thaw out during one particularly cold winter. Since both spouses worked, they had difficulty coordinating their schedules, so the decision was made to have the husband leave for Florida on a certain day, with the wife following him one day later.

The man made it down to Florida and arrived at his hotel. Upon getting to
his room, he decided to open his laptop and send his wife back in Minneapolis an email. However, he left off one letter in typing his wife's email address, and sent the email off without realizing the error he made.

In another part of the country, a widow had just returned from  the funeral of her husband, a Methodist pastor of many years, who had been called to glory just a few days earlier. She decided to check her email because she was expecting to hear from her husband's relatives and friends.
Upon reading the first email, she let out a loud scream, fainted and fell to the floor. The woman's son rushed into the room and found his mother on the floor. He glanced up at the computer screen and saw the following email message:
To My Loving Wife:
I've just been checked in. Everything has been prepared for
your arrival here tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then.
  Your Devoted Husband.
PS: Sure is HOT down here.

Check this out. It is pretty cool! My uncle sent this to me, and it is fun to play with. Now, you, too can control time.

If you enjoy this letter, please forward it on to your friends and family. Word of mouth ( or email) is truly the best form of advertising there is! Thanks

I hope you all have a wonderful April, and that the sun and rain makes your personal gardens and grasses greener than the other side's. Peace to you through music and smiles.
