If you happen to go to Cary for the Fireworks on the 4th, stop by the Six String and catch Eliot Bronson and Sam Anderson. Eliot and just shared a performance together in Greenville SC. What a songwriter! You will enjoy him as well.

If you are in Roxboro and want to find something good to do with the family this weekend, I would recommend going to the Youth Summer Theatre Production of THE EDGE OF THE NEST July 5th at 7:30 pm, and July 6th at 2:00 pm. Both my kids are in this play, and they have been singing me some great songs that are included in it.

Once again, I have been blessed with great press. I was the featured artist last week in the Greenville SC publication, MetroBEAT. What a great article. Dan Armonaitis was so fun to chat with, and he put our crazy conversation into a good read. . . at least for me, anyway. ALSO, there is a BRAND NEW National Publication coming out called the ROOM. Which stand for Reviews of Original Music. I am being featured in their very first publication. Each featured artist is also included on a compilation disc. 13 of us in all.
Here is their description of the magazine - The goal of Review Of Original Music is to bring you in contact with the vast network of unheard and often unrecognized indie musicians who exemplify the best of their specific musical genre. As a policy of The Room, we do not accept paid advertisements in either the magazine or online. Thus you get cover to cover in-depth stories and reviews of the many talented artists that we feature. Even better, we include a professionally mastered sampler CD that gives you an entire song (no MP3's here) of the 13 artists about whom we do a full feature story in each issue.
