Wow!
Can you believe we are coming down to the end of another year? As they say, time flies when you're having fun, or is it time goes faster as you get older. . . . Hummm. I guess that applies to me on both counts.
I am very excited about this month's schedule. I will be returning for almost 2 weeks of wonderful gigs in the DC area with incredible songwriters and great venues. I am also getting to end my year's performances at one of my favorite venues. . .the Six String Cafe. so, here's the complete listing...

Music. . . a gift in many ways
I hope you are getting all your holiday shopping finalized, and I want to help you if I can, you know me, always trying to help. . .
If you would like to give my new disc, ILLUSIONS as holiday presents, I would like to offer you this. If you buy 5 or more, I will sell them to you at $10 each, and include shipping. That's $50 for 5 discs. If you want to buy 1 - 4 they are still the very affordable $15, and I will include shipping as well.
I am using all proceeds from my CD to raise money fro my youngest daughter, Ashley to go to Scotland in June 2003. Of course, I will get to chaperone, but we are in the process of raising funds, and I am going to dedicate all CD sales to this venture. See, in addition to giving the gift of music, you are helping a young lady experience life. Thanks.

Holiday Cooking. .
Holiday cooking is ever prevalent, and already I have been doing my share of it, and loving every minute! I would like to share a new recipe I have just discovered as a Pampered Chef consultant. This one is for all you chocolate lovers, and it is VERY quick and easy.
Foolproof DARK CHOCOLATE FUDGE:
(Makes about 2 pounds)
3 (6-ounce) packages semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
Dash salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Let cool in your saucepan for about half an hour, stirring occasionally. Load into cookie press. Press onto cutting board. OR pour into oblong pan, and let cool. cut to the size you want. This is a rich fudge, so pieces can be cut pretty small for a BIG taste!

( IF you would like to host a Pampered Chef party, please contact me and let's schedule one. kim@... . If you are unfamiliar with Pampered Chef products, I can tell you this, as someone who loves to cook, the PC products have helped with prep time and cooking on stones makes the food better. That's why I decided to put some of my energy into sharing these products with those who love to cook, or are cooking impaired.)

Here are some words about my new CD, Illusions:
"...Buchanan has delivered a musical package that beams with soul and sensitivity. Her songwriting is smooth and fluid, with lyrics fitting the cosmic, haunting and stormy backgrounds created by equally fine musicians... The production quality is exceptional and is best appreciated with headphones on."
