Greetings! I am a new member. My name is Gerard ("Gerry") York. I am
a 45 year old lawyer in Tallahassee, Florida, where I have worked for
the State of Florida since 1996. I worked for the Department of State
here during Election 2000, the night that lasted 36 days!

I suppose I appreciated the Kinks on the charts with items
like "Lola" and "Come Dancing" over the years (I grew up in Miami and
missed their Miami concert in the early 70s), but that's about it.
This year, I started buying one CD after another.... So far I have:
Kinks, Kinda Kinks, kinks Controversy, Face to Face, Village Green,
Arthur, Lola, Muswell, Presevation #1, Soap Opera, Sleepwalker, Low
Budget, Misfits, One for the Road, State of Confusion,Word of Mouth,
BBC and Ultimate Collection. For some reason, I found the 1998
reissue of Lola with extra tracks to be maddeningly unavailable.

I appreciate any tips on the next purchase. In sum, this is an
amazing body of work & Davies is a brilliant satirist. Cheers.
